We had men and women over for dinner for our modest group bible study and it can be generally a potluck and we make the primary dish and after that other couples bring salad, bread, desert and starch. So I was thinking I hope that whatever they bring I do not like. My wife made a curry chicken dish and was making confident to keep the carbs down, so I wasn’t worried about that. But I’ve under no circumstances been a big fan of curry, however the way she made it, it tasted great. Then someone brought white rice (superior, not a tempting dish at all), a further couple brought flatbread and it did look excellent, but I resisted. Then needless to say the salad which was fine, they brought a range of salad dressings, but were all high carb so I use ours.
